“I was raised in Oklahoma where flip flops come out in February, everyone pulls over to let a funeral procession pass, we don’t have fire flies - we have “lightnin’ bugs”, “taters” are mandatory, “y’all” is a proper noun, chicken is fried, biscuits come with gravy, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never, ever disrespect your elders.”

I first began this tumblr a few years ago because of my dear friends Levi Bouska and Gage R. Beavers. It has now become a time line of all I have blogged about. I am so thankful for every person in my life, but there are a handful that have made a lifelong impact…

My Mom - No one will ever come close to the place she has in my heart.

Tracey - She brought me into her household as I was her very own.

My Grandma Lola - As she is resting in peace, she is still teaching me things daily.

Kim - My cousin who has been there with me through so much.

Levi - He knows how important he is to me. :) That summer in Wellston is one I will never ever forget.

Gage - I miss the talks I shared with him. We both lost someone so dear to us at around the same time.

Ryon - We grew up together. I will always love him.

Zach - The short amount of time we have shared together has been so wonderful. And I am excited to see what the future holds.

Steffany - I saved her life in 8th grade.

Ryan - After going to school together in our elementary years, we met back up at UCO. He is such a great friend.

Zane - Even though I have only known him for a short while, he has brightened my day numerous times.

Thank you to each of you :) I am always a phone call away. Keep smiling and don’t let anyone take your happiness away. Life is too short. I have missed opportunities and think of them daily, but I go into each day knowing I am a little stronger and wiser because of the events in my life. And without each of you, my life wouldn’t be so amazing. I love each of you more than I am able to express. So if you ever feel lonely, I hope you think of this post and know you have impacted my life in a positive way.
